VOCAL WORKSHOPS
The workshops are for vocalists and musicians who would like to learn about the body, breath and performance. The classes cover the foundations of singing and the basics for strong supported, well rounded vocalization.
Foundation for Singing
The classes are open to anyone, so it doesn't matter if your style is punk, pop or classical. The workshops cover the following concepts:
- Vocal warmups
- The breath support system
- Voice maintainance
- The mechanics and anatomy of the voice
- Breathing exercises
- Vocal exercises
- Stretching, posture and alignment
The workshop consists of two group sessions, which cover the foundations of singing and one private one-on-one 45 minute singing lesson to consolidate what has been covered during the workshops, the workshops are held on Thursday nights, classes run for 2 and a half hours.
VOCAL WORKSHOP CONTENT
| Week 1 | Posture & warmups, the anatomy of the voice. |
| Week 2 | The breathing system, breathing exercises and breath support. |
| Week 3 | 45 Minute Singing Lesson (scheduled). |

Private casual classes in Vocal are $45.00 per class, however a 30% discount applies if you enroll for a Vocal Workshop and pay in full in advance.
Please note: Prices as of August 17th 2010, if you have received any promotional material with prices quoted before this date those prices will apply, proof of promotional maybe required.
Classes handouts are supplied but you may bring a pen and please wear something comfortable. Refreshments and water is supplied.
